No Y2K problems have been detected in Estonian banks during the first half hour of the year 2000.

As of now, i.e. as of 00.30, January 1, 2000 no Y2K problems have been detected in the systems of the Estonian banks.

The banks had completed the roll-over procedures 23.30, December 31.1999.

The tests planned by the banks for the first day of the new year are starting and the results will be published at 17.00 on 1 January 2000.
